Some things that are maybe worth doing over a few days in New York (that I did).

I did not end up walking the whole thing but it’s a lovely journey for however long you take it. Lots of folks using it. Gotta be patient and get zen.

This is like a university commons. There was an art market going on when we were there. It’s a whole scene. Great people-watching.

This is where the musical “Six” is playing

It was something neither of us had seen that we spontaneously got tix for the same day. Entertaining. The wives of Henry the 8th take turns singing about how bad they had it.

Always love the Met. Saw so many beautiful things. The exhibit we went for was Black Dandyism. Just gorgeous.

I did this one alone on my extra night of the trip. This place is iconic. Very crammed in there but after two drinks and some laughs you hardly notice.

A fun activity. You get to make a custom scent for yourself. I’ll forever associate the smell with this trip.

When I finally walked away from Hudson Yards I ducked in here. So many cool vendors. Bought a necklace I didn’t need but it’s a stunner.

Love. Mood. Period. Spent hours in here looking at fabric. Vowed to take some home and I did. It was my second time there.

We. Waited in line to get a seating at Semma. We were told to come back a few hours later. We killed time in here. A good divey bar with lots of Star Wars decor.

Went to the one near Hudson Yards (which is worthwhile too) Had the Nightingale: latte with espresso, earl grey tea and turbinado sugar. Perfect, not sweet, can recommend.

This is right down the block from the Hotel Park Ave. And is a cute jewel box of a cafe. Nice to have nearby.

Came here by myself to chill, draw, reflect on the trip. Coffee and service were good. Very sleek and modern not great for cozying in.

This was a great location. Not too deep in tourist territory. The room was comfortable and chic. They had a clothing steamer. The bathroom had a sliding door that wasn’t v. Private

Ended up coming off the High Line near here and was hungry. Been told the of location is better. They were probably right. Had a good bagel regardless

Had a lunch here. Super cute spot. Sat outside on a sunny day. Fresh salads. Brunch w the girls energy.

This was my white whale this trip. Elevated Indian food, one Michelin star. So good and not a stuffy atmosphere at all. Sat at the bar had a great meal.

Was recommended this spot for Georgian food. I ordered too much food but got to try a lot. Natural wines (as is the way with Georgian wine) very nice.

Cool, below street level Japanese restaurant. Vibrant atmosphere. Very cosy but you don’t have to worry about being overheard. It’s not a whispering kind of place.

Had gelatto here after the comedy show. It’s right down the block. A guy stands outside giving samples. Some cool unusual flavors here
