Then we headed to Rothorn Restaurant & Pizzeria, a casual mountain spot with wood-fired pizza, hearty mains, and breathtaking panoramic views. For classic Swiss flavors, Restaurant Schäferstube served cozy lamb, fondue, and rösti in a traditional wood-paneled setting, followed by Whymper-Stube, iconic for cheese fondue and raclette—the ultimate winter comfort food. We wrapped it up at Fuchs Bakery & Café, warming up with coffee, hot chocolate, and freshly baked pastries after a day in the Alps. Alpine Air & Summit Ales: A Perfect Day in Zermatt Switzerland

After eating a great breakfast at our hotel. The morning began soaring through crisp winter air on a paraglide over snow-covered valleys and alpine ridgelines. After landing, a scenic train carried us to the summit of Gornergrat, where we sipped a cold, well-earned Swiss beer while taking in unbeatable views of the Matterhorn rising sharply against the winter sky. As a final highlight, an ibex appeared on the snowy slopes, perfectly closing out an unforgettable alpine day.
